Greetings, and thank you for joining us for another “Twisted Path to Renown” dev log. I am Andrii, your Community Manager from Game Labs.

I am excited to share some of the latest updates for “Twisted Path to Renown”. June’s been a very busy month for us, so I wanted to take the opportunity to share some progress with you all before our memories fade and we forget all the interesting smaller details. We will keep up with monthly development logs, to have all of you included in our journey.

Last time we introduced the game to you and went through the era where our game takes place. But today we want to take you deeper and share the game aspects and features, as you know dev logs are the only way that we can share our ideas and expectations about the game. So without any further ado let's get into it.

When we first started working on the game one of the most important things that we thought about is the weapon system, especially since this time period included a lot of weapons and different methods of reloading, which are among the many unique things that distinguish this era from others, and they also vary from primitive to more advanced ones based on the technology and knowledge in this era.

You see, we've been driven by one simple goal: to empower you, the players, with a level of control and creativity that genuinely makes each experience uniquely your own. And one of the key elements that bring this vision to life? The good old revolver mechanism!

Yes, we're going beyond the simple "point and shoot" approach, instead delving deep into the heart of firearms – their core mechanisms. In this case, it’s all about the revolving mechanism, the heart and soul of any good Western firearm, and boy, we have some serious variations for you.

In the gritty world of "A Twisted Path To Renown", versatility is king. That's why we've infused our game with an impressive array of weapon modifications that cater to a diverse range of playstyles, strategies, and personal flair. Are you a “one-shot, one-kill” kind of player, or do you prefer raining lead on your enemies? We've got you covered.

Let's kick things up a notch and explore the options at your disposal. Ever heard of single-action and double-action mechanisms? That's right, folks, we're stepping into some real gunslinging territory here. Single-action means you'll need to cock the hammer manually before each shot, giving you a sense of control and authenticity. At the same time, double-action allows for rapid fire, as the hammer cocks automatically with each pull of the trigger. Choices, choices!

But don't fret; we're not leaving you in the dark with all these options. We've crafted an intuitive and engaging system that allows you to experiment and try these combinations to find your perfect match. Extended barrel for long-range accuracy? Check. Custom grip for optimal recoil management? Absolutely. An enhanced cylinder for packing in more rounds? We've got it all, and so much more.

So there you have it, folks. A taste of the depth and detail you can expect in the world of "A Twisted Path To Renown". And trust me, we've only just scratched the surface.

One of the things that took us some time too is bullets, but let's leave this for another dev log.

Don’t miss our upcoming dev logs by joining us on Discord, and following us on Social Media as we are getting ready to start our first beta test.

Until then, keep practicing those quickdraws, and remember - your weapon is only as good as you make it.

That’s it for now, until next time.

This has been Andrii, signing off.
